In 2013 I graduated from Avila University with a Bachelors degree in Elementary Education. After that, I spent some time substitute teaching, working as an ELL Paraprofessional, and being a summer school tutor.
One thing I really enjoy is the country. I love the beautiful landscapes and the open spaces. I love to walk around the woods and see and hear all the life that it breathes. Also, I absolutely love to fish and shoot archery. Practicing archery helps me prepare for tournaments and for hunting season. As much as I hate getting up terribly early and sometimes having to sit outside in the cold, I DO enjoy hunting!

Okay, okay, I will stop bragging now! ;-)
One fun fact about me is that I am a HUGE memorabilia hoarder!!! I have home videos, old journals, and poorly made scrapbooks from my childhood that I refuse to dispose of and could spend hours looking through (even though I have looked through them a thousand times). Nowadays, I love to design photo-books and videos on my laptop to save and share memories.
Documenting memories is very important to me, which is, in part, why I created this blog. I want a place to save all of the experiences I will have as I journey through the wonderful world of teaching, as well as the things I will learn and use in my classroom!
As a bonus, I get to share them with all of you! I hope that you can somehow relate and take something away from the things I share and that you will be willing to share your experiences with me as well!
